Upstart Performing Arts Camp!
These very popular camps foster appreciation for the arts and performing. They also build skills needed to perform to the best of each child's ability. We offer a Disney theme camp and a Broadway theme camp for our upstarts and each camp includes classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Acting and Voice as well as arts and crafts. Each camper will create a book of memories that includes what they learned during camp. Campers will also receive a camp CD of their performance pieces featuring their own voices! Camps culminate in a performance for our parents!

New - School of Rock!

School of Rock
This summer come be a part of the On Center School of Rock! All instruments are welcome as you will learn how to transform your individual talent into a group experience. Classes will consist of rehearsals specific to the instrumentation of the group and will include: listening, sight reading, ear training, basic music theory and performance. Come join the band and get ready to rock out!

School of Rock
"Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story." - Homer
Find your voice this summer with Eden Atwood at OCPA's School of Rock! This camp will introduce young singers and aspiring singers to the basics of songwriting. Learn to write lyrics, create melodies and arrange instruments and voices to tell your story through music. No prior songwriting experience necessary...just a willingness to be open to possibility!

Instructor Training I & III

This is the first & third of a three year program designed to give advanced students the skills necessary to teach performing arts. The history of dance, anatomy, music, music editing, choreography, business, teaching skills, and much more is covered. At the session's end, students are tested on materials covered during the session & must pass to proceed to the next level. Passing students are required to assistant teach & choreograph in the next school year. Permission from Lisa Deer is necessary to participate in the program

Summer Intensive Performing Arts Camp!

Once again OCPA is thrilled to announce our Master Teacher line-up for our Summer Intensive. Each of our Master Teachers is a working professional that not only build your skills but are valuable contacts for your future career! Don't miss the opportunity to train with these amazing professionals! Performing Arts Camp is a time to hone the skills needed to be a top performer. Classes offered in Ballet, Tap, Jazz as well as Voice and Acting help create well rounded performers who can do it all. Triple Threats we call them! Camp culminates with a performance to show off new skills!
